Honor Unveils Futuristic Devices at MWC 2026: Foldable Phones, Tablets, and a Sneak Peek at AI's Future
The Mobile World Congress 2026 brought a wave of innovation from Honor, showcasing a foldable phone that pushes the boundaries of technology and two tablets that cater to diverse user needs.
Honor's Magic V6 is a game-changer, featuring a unique blend of cutting-edge technologies. Its silicon-carbon battery, advanced display, and AI capabilities promise an unparalleled user experience. With a slim profile of just 8.75mm, enhanced durability, and a sophisticated hinge design, the Magic V6 is built to last without compromising aesthetics. Water and dust resistance (IP68 and IP69 ratings) and a massive 6,660mAh battery ensure peace of mind. But here's where it gets impressive: the dual LTPO 2.0 screens offer a seamless transition from a compact 6.52-inch external display to a spacious 7.95-inch unfolded screen, with refresh rates up to 120Hz and stunning brightness levels of 6,000 and 5,000 nits, respectively, for HDR content. Honor has also tackled the crease issue, reducing its depth by 44% compared to its predecessor, resulting in a smoother, more immersive viewing experience. And this is the part most people miss—the advanced anti-reflection stack and AI-powered display enhancements make prolonged use a breeze.
The Magic V6's AI-enhanced productivity features shine when the device is unfolded, making multitasking, content creation, and communication more efficient. Alongside the foldable, Honor introduced the MagicPad 4 and MagicBook Pro 14 tablets.
The MagicPad 4 is a slim powerhouse, measuring just 4.8mm thick and sporting a vibrant 3K OLED display with a 165Hz refresh rate. It's powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 platform and includes AI-assisted multitasking tools. The 12.3-inch display, coupled with Linux Lab support, enables seamless cross-collaboration and AI assistant integration.
The MagicBook Pro 14, on the other hand, is a performance-oriented tablet with an Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processor and a 14.6-inch OLED display. It strikes a balance between battery life, performance, and portability, making it an ideal choice for professionals on the go.
The MagicPad 4 will be available in Grey and White, with a starting price of €699 (approximately $1,117 CAD), while regional variations may apply.
But Honor didn't stop there. They also unveiled a humanoid robot, designed to revolutionize shopping assistance, workplace inspections, and companionship.
